Early 2024, countless false comments were made on a viral social media post accusing HBCU-attending college students of being irresponsible drop outs, future baby mothers, and other prejudiced comments. I tailored this shoot to highlight the duality & truth of black students in academia. So versatile and unwilling to compromise personal expression for success, we make space for both in ways that confuse others to a point of disbelief and denial.
